Le Coq Sportif, the official partner of the Paris 2024 Games, launches a aange of three fragrances

The French sportswear brand, known for its iconic rooster logo, has collaborated with Extend Beauty, a French SME that develops perfumes from the olfactory concept to the bottle and packaging design, to create a new line of fragrances that celebrates the Olympic spirit and the French heritage.
The three fragrances, which are available in both men's and women's versions, are inspired by the colors of the French flag and the emotions they evoke: blue for optimism, white for relaxation and red for energy. Each fragrance is sponsored by four Olympic and Paralympic athletes, who embody the values of Le Coq Sportif: Élodie Clouvel, silver medalist in modern pentathlon in 2016, Dimitri Pavadé, silver medalist in long jump in 2021, Hugo Boucheron, gold medalist in rowing in 2020 and Julia Pereira De Sousa Mabileau, silver medalist in snowboard in 2018.
A faithful design to the brand's DNA
The design of the bottles and packaging reflects the brand's identity and history. The proud rooster, symbol of France and Le Coq Sportif, shines on top of the bottle caps. On each cap, there is also a strip of fabric in the colors of the brand, recalling its textile heritage. The tricolor ribbon, also slipped into each box, can be turned into a perfumed bracelet to show support for the French athletes during the summer.
The company worked with Codiplas, a specialist in plastic injection molding, to produce the cap topped with a rooster. Made of PP, it was completed by a steel ballast to give it a heavier weight.
The main technical challenge for this project was the design of the mold and the injection parameters. Determining the most precise position of the injection point allowed to limit any deformation or defect on the shell at the time of injection. The body and the sleeve of the perfume were injected. The body was then metallized before applying the fabric and assembling with the sleeve and the steel ballast.
Blue, white and red
It is only natural that the range of perfumes bears the colors of the French flag. For each color, an emotion, blue for optimism, white for relaxation and red for energy. These three fragrances are the result of a careful selection of ingredients and notes, to create a unique olfactory signature for each one.
The blue fragrance is a fresh and invigorating scent, with citrus, aquatic and woody notes. It evokes the freshness of the morning, the energy of the sea and the strength of the wind. It is a fragrance that stimulates the senses and boosts the confidence.

The red fragrance is a warm and spicy scent, with fruity, oriental and amber notes. It evokes the fire of the sun, the passion of the heart and the intensity of the emotions. It is a fragrance that ignites the spirit and the courage, and inspires to take action.
Le Coq Sportif is the first license for Extend Beauty, which was created in 1992 and until now exclusively developed its own brands Princesse Marina de Bourbon and Marie Antoinette, whose perfumes are now sold in more than 70 countries.
