Jaillance La Rosé - slightly sweet sparkling
Character
Colour : Pale pink with some purple reflections and elegant bubbles.
Bouquet : Fruity, with notes of sour cherry, raspberry and lychee.
Palate : Creamy mousse, good balance on the palate combining freshness, elegance and greediness. Excellent aromatic persistence.
Terroir and winemaking
The grapes thrive in the sunny conditions of the Drôme Valley, sheltered by the foothills of the Vercors. The vineyard is made up of chalky clay soil in small plots, rising to some 700m above sea level. Jaillance’s winemakers take meticulous care of their vines.
Grape varieties
A harmonious blend of three varieties : white and red Muscat with a little added Gamay.
Food pairing
Fruity but not too sweet, this is a fresh, crisp wine, ideal as an aperitif with tapas but equally delicious for dessert.
