La Croisade Réserve Chardonnay 2022

This range of premium wines are crafted in tribute to the famous Cathar Crusade. At the end of the 12th Century, a new religion, “Catharism”, emerged. This movement was in reaction to the dissolute lifestyles of the Catholic clergy at that time. From 1215 to 1225, the South of France experienced a series of revolts. This tormented past created tales of heroism. Today, many places are named after “La Croisade”, in honour of this rich history.
