BLEND AND TERROIRS
70% Syrah
30% Grenache
These grape varieties come from the very fine Pic Saint Loup terroir, a legendary land in the Languedoc region. The grapes are harvested by hand, an essential and uncommon requirement for preserving exceptional quality.
WINEMAKING PROCESS
Destemmed and lightly crushed. Vinified in concrete vats with careful cap punching work.
Cellar ageing: 20 months in eggs and concrete vats.
Date of harvest: September 2021
Growing method: HVE (Higher Environmental Value, an environmental certificate awarded in France)
TASTING EXPERIENCE
Nose: intense and spicy with notes of white pepper.
Palate: full and meaty on entry. A full-bodied wine with supple tannins and a fine texture.
Pairing suggestions: game in a thick sauce, beef rib steak, slow-cooked beef stew.
This wine is best served between 14°C and 15°C.
