Grande Dauphine - Orange & Cognac liqueur
Christy Canterbury Sélection - MW
Award : Best Aromatized Spirit
"I love fruit brandies, so it is no surprise that I was drawn to this lightly sweet Cognac laced with orange peels. I enjoy that it tastes fresher than cognac thanks to the zesty orange notes.
Exotically spicy on the nose, served cold over ice, this is a delightful, post-meal refresher in place of dessert or paired with flan or crème caramel. There is a lovely balance of mid-palate warmth and creaminess with orange peel lift. Flavors of vanilla, toast and caramel float into the medium finish." Christy Canterbury - MW
Formerly called Vieille Dauphine, La Grande Dauphine is a specialty liqueur of the Dauphiné (the French region between the Rhone Valley
and the French Alps).
A tasty composition of oranges, spices and Cognac, la Grande Dauphine is the legacy of three centuries of tradition. Enjoy it pure or in cocktail or to flavour desserts and pancakes.
