TERROIR
This cuvée is the result of a small selection of old vines.
Cuvée from a rigorous selection and manual harvest at low yield, of
plots harvested at full maturity in the middle and end of the harvest.
VINIFICATION AND AGEING
Traditional vinification. Long cuvaison, one month for a wine from high
quality. conscientious vatting, clarification by simple extraction before
bottling.
TASTING NOTES
A deep red colour with purple hues. A powerful nose of black fruits and
spices. A nice mouth full and frank on the attack, tannins present. A long
finish on regulated notes. It is a very great vintage with a concentrated
red Gigondas, powerful and with a certain potential for aging.
FOOD AND WINE PAIRINGS
A prestigious cuvée to taste on a roasted capon with morels, on a terrine
of wild boar, or a leg of lamb, a rib of beef.
Child care potential: 10 years
The service temperature must be between 16°C and 18°C.
