Located on the slopes of Gevrey-Chambertin, this premier cru will reveal plenty of power. "Les Champeaux" is a lively wine. A frank explosion of aromas accompanied by all the roundness and finesse of a premier cru. Ideal with tougher dishes such as game.

“The reduction is sufficiently prominent to block an evaluation of the nose.

There is excellent intensity along with reasonably good refinement to the medium-bodied flavors that display plenty minerality on the serious, brooding and mouth coating finish.

This will also definitely need patience.
