Experience French flavors at SIAL China: A culinary comeback

This year, SIAL China welcomed approximately 176,000 professional visitors to explore the offerings of 5,000 exhibitors from 110 countries and regions. The French Pavilion made a triumphant return after a five-year hiatus, with its last participation in 2019, bringing a renewed energy and diverse range of products.
A showcase of French variety
The French Pavilion featured 15 companies showcasing an impressive array of products across 9 distinct categories. From high-quality meats and charcuterie to exquisite seafood, refreshing non-alcoholic beverages, fine wines, sweet groceries, dairy products, artisan bakery items, and fruit and oilseed-based products, the pavilion highlighted the richness and diversity of French gastronomy.
Notable visitors and media engagement
The opening ceremony on May 28th was marked by the presence of the Consul General of France in Shanghai, Mr. Joan Valadou. He visited the French exhibitors, offering them an opportunity to present their products and discuss their export strategies. The French Pavilion also captured significant attention online, thanks to a livestream by Chinese influencer CIEL on May 29th. His coverage of the pavilion's offerings engaged thousands of followers on social media, amplifying the reach and impact of French products.

The successful return of the French Pavilion to SIAL China was a testament to the dedication and effort of the teams in Paris and Shanghai.
