Tranquil, subtle and immediately detailed in its expression, the blend of Grenache and Carignan shows no varietal character whatsoever. Supported by a remarkable finesse of tannins, the wine unfolds a very enveloping flesh, a velvety softness as welcoming as a quilt... The flavour is distinguished by a smoky, spicy aftertaste which structures the clean, pure fruit, albeit already patinated and matured.
