Like Solen, right from the start Aurel 2017 expresses great fifinesse of texture and structure, with tactile elements offering a deep, well-balanced flavours with brilliant transparency. Without any element appearing to be stressed or emphasised, the wine's warmth accentuates its voluptuous dimension as much as the powerful structure of the wine. The long, rooty, liquorice finish, more persistent and 'darker' than Solen, signs the presence of the mourvèdre. This is a wine to look forward to, whose empyreumatic notes are already in harmonious dialogue with the very Mediterranean luminosity of the fruit.
