Vinification: Hand-picked in crates, not crushed, partially de-stemmed and vatted. Vatting time between 4 and 5 weeks. Aged for 20 months in concrete vats. Vinification and maturing without sulphite. Wine not fined. Light filtration and 1 g/hl of SO2 before bottling.
Tasting: Chemin de Ronde celebrates the union of schist, garrigue and sun in a generous wine that is representative of its terroir. The nose is complex, with hints of red fruit, liquorice and laurel. The palate is melted and greedy with ripe tannins. Finally, the finish is quite long and leaves a nice clean feeling. A wine with ageing potential.
