Domaine des Chanssaud 2019

Located at the gates of Provence, near the famous village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, formerly the summer residence of the Popes established in Avignon, the Domaine des Chanssaud has maintained the family tradition since 1826.
Patrick JAUME, the current owner, manages this fifty-hectare estate and strives to produce Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes-du-Rhône wines that are the expression of the terroir and the climate so characteristic of this part of the southern Rhone Valley.
The vineyard covers 35 Ha, including 14 Ha of Châteauneuf du Pape and 21 Ha of Côtes du Rhône.
This very typical wine, where we find the terroir and the sunshine, combines character, roundness and suppleness. Well-structured tannins make this Côtes-du-Rhône a generous wine, which will perfectly accompany all types of meals with friends.
