Domaine Borie La Vitarèle, Les Schistes, AOP Saint-Chinian, 2020

Made from organic and biodynamically farmed Syrah, Carignan and Grenache on schist, hence the name, this wine has a cherry and truffle-laced nose. On the palate it is sumptuous and rounded with deep and heady blackcurrant and blackberry flavours alongside wet-stone and cooling liquorice.
