Delmonico 2017
In 1827, during New York City's financial evolution, two Swiss brothers, John and Peter DELMONICO, open the “Delmonico's Restaurant”. Their nephew Lorenzo joins them, and he will be the real architect of its development. This “Parisian style” restaurant, located in the south of Manhattan, owes its success to its refined dishes, its fine wines, and its famous “Delmonico steak” (boneless steak from the first ribs adjacent to the beef loin, rib steak). It prevails at the same address since 1837. Delmonico is a powerful wine with blackberry aromas. On the palate, we find cherry, black prune, and blackcurrant flavors paired with hints of pepper, coffee, and caramel.
