Délice of Landes Duck Foie Gras with Artichoke and Verbena Berries

Maison Lafitte has put all its know-how into this generous, summery recipe, a tribute to one of Lyon's gastronomic recipes, artichoke bottoms with Foie Gras salad, which has become an emblematic starter in Lyon's bouchons. This is the first time that a vegetable has been combined with LAFITTE's traditional Foie Gras des Landes.

More than a simple creation, it's the exploration of a new taste territory: the mellowness of the Foie Gras and the sweetness of the artichoke, known for its subtle hazelnut flavour.

When tasted, the artichoke base brings a delicate play of textures with its crunchiness, which sublimates the Whole Duck Foie Gras from the Landes.

The Verbena berry adds a light, tangy flavour to the recipe.
