 THE STORY
De Chanceny is emblematic of our know-how in producing fine, sparkling Loire wines according to the Méthode Traditionnelle, developed since 1957.

› THE VINTAGE
The cuvée Brut Nature is a pure wine, without dosage. It reveals the intrinsic qualities of the grapes, which are hand-picked for their superb natural richness (texture, aroma and maturity). Then, the best juices are selected during the pressing, before being aged for a long time on slats.
The perfect balance of the blend harmoniously combines richness, fatness, acidity and bitterness to bring a nice tension. The richness is enough to do without enhancing the wine with sugar.
The cuvée Brut Nature asserts its style: elegance, impertinence and character.

› LOCATION
De Chanceny wines are produced in the Loire Valley, in the heart of the land of the Kings of France. The lands of this valley is classified as a UNESCO heritage site.

› TERROIR
The "Brut Nature" cuvée is made from grapes coming from plots of land located on a clay-limestone terroir.

› VINIFICATION
Selection of the plots according to the maturity. Gentle pressing and cool fermentation (18°C) ensure that all the aromas are preserved. The best juice is selected from the first pressing. Second fermentation in bottle according to the Méthode Traditionnelle.

› AGEING
The bottles are stored on wooden laths in our tufa cellars for a minimum of 24 months before disgorging, to develop an incomparable fine bead.

› SERVING
Enjoy chilled (8°C).

› TASTING NOTES
Pale gold color with an elegant and fine effervescence. Complex nose mixing toasted and roasted notes (brioche, toasted bread). The structured mouth presents a pleasant freshness and finesse. It evolves on aromas of yellow peach and pear, white flowers, then finishes on a brioche finish.

› FOOD AND WINE PAIRINGS
This sparkling wine is ideal as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to iodized dishes (oysters, scallop carpaccio, grilled langoustines).
