"This has more heft than the many other Alsace crémants, giving it a certain gravitas. It also has a fine balance of acidity and dryness, whereas some of the Extra Bruts or Zero Dosage wines were a bit high pitched. Perfect for a reception apéritif or a festive weekend brunch.

The vibrant and forward nose with tree bloom top notes leads to a very elegant palate with tiny bubbles. This is floral and lightly spicy with an emphasis on fruit freshness rather than lees-driven, autolytic notes. The lithe palate is lightly textured and finishes with a pleasant hint of amaro-like bitterness that cleans-up the light sweetness.
