Combes Maubrillon

A nice red wine, AOP Côtes du Roussillon Villages without added sulfur. It is a blend of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah with 1/3 of each variety. Tasting notes: Very rich, powerful nose typical of Roussillon with lots of richness marked by notes of spices, garrigue and black fruit like blackcurrant and strawberry. Foregoing sulphur enhances the pleasure of the fruit. Very mouth-filling, huge palate where the absence of sulphur promotes lush juiciness, maximising the fruit and the enjoyment. Substantial length and power. Drink from now on for its fruity, tannin edge, but it will keep for between 3 and 5 years.
