Clos Barrot

 Clay soil located at the top of the hillside. The wine from this unique clos, a little rustic in its youth, requires different and longer aging than other wines. The more advanced extraction and the terroir give this wine firmer tannins. Longer aging gives it finesse. It is a marginal vintage, of a small volume. It is not produced every vintage.  This wine, like the “prestige”, will go very well with red meats and dishes with sauces.
