Originally, Château Tour Léognan was an estate adjacent to Château Carbonnieux. When Marc Perrin acquired the two properties in 1956, he undertook a replanting programme and Tour Léognan became the second wine of Carbonnieux. This wine is made from a blend of wines from young vines less than fifteen years old.
