CHATEAU TOUR DU PAS ST GEORGES 2018
For 20 years, Pascal Delbeck was in charge of producing the wines of Château Ausone for Madame Chalon-Dubois (herself a co-owner until 1997) and continues to vinify the wines of the neighbouring château, Bélair, Ier Cru Classé Saint Emilion. It is on two prestigious appellations (Lalande de Pomerol and Saint Georges Saint Emilion), whose wines rival a Pomerol or a Saint Emilion, that we have the pleasure of finding it again.
The bouquet, finesse and suppleness of Pascal Delbeck’s wines will be obtained with a few years in the cellar. The Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion appellation has long been recognised as the most prestigious and most confidential of the satellites of Saint-Emilion; the site enjoys an exceptional panorama and covers 14 hectares with magnificent southern exposure, on the clay-limestone and molasse sand slopes of the Périgord.
