Château Maucamps Millésime 2011
Château Maucamps has 22,5 hectares of vineyards with optimal exposure, planted on Garonne gravel with clay subsoil. The vineyard is exclusively composed of fine vines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. All in one piece, the vineyard is located in Macau, near Margaux, bordering part of Château La Lagune and Château Cantemerle (3rd and 5th Crus Classés in 1855). A firm and structured wine, with smooth tannins to partner with the blackcurrant. We can find tertiary aromas from the aging (tobacco, cedar), with hints of spices (pepper, curry). Long and elegant finale note.
