1962 Danielle and Serge Segond buy Château Lousteauneuf from the de Lestapis family, négociants in Bordeaux.
Since 1988 Bruno Segond has managed Château Lousteauneuf in keeping with family tradition. Quality is his byword!
1993 - 2010 Bruno Segond decided to build a new winery and devotes himself entirely to making the best possible wine. He invested heavily in a new vat room, barrel cellar, state of the art winemaking equipment, and a well-insulated bottle storage facility. His sole aim: to produce a high quality wine.
The wine is deeply-coloured, very aromatic, ethereal and complex, with beautiful and elegant tannins.
The quality of this tannin comes from Chateau Lousteauneuf’s soil: gravel hills and ferrous soil.
