Château Le Thys

Located on a gravelly plateau overlooking the Garonne, Château Le Thys is described as a «Gift of God» by the first owner, it derives from a surname of Flemish origin. Representing a variant of Mathis, familiar form of Mathieu, baptismal name of Biblical origin, it means «Gift of God». Château Le Thys has a pretty carmine color. This wine expresses well through its power in the mouth and the liveliness of its tannins the youth of the vines from which it comes. Served with red meats and grilled meats in the early years, this wine will go perfectly with finer dishes, in sauces or cheeses as it ages.
