Château le Gardera
Le Gardera parcels are composed of clayey-gravelly soil with excellent southeast exposure. Sitting atop a rocky spur overlooking the Garonne River. This estate has been organically grown since the 2010 vintage. Herbicides have been replaced by ploughing the soil.
60% Merlot, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, aged in French oak barrels for 12 Months. A lovely deep red colour and a fine nose with aromas of red berries. Supple, elegant, and fruity in the mouth, with good ageing potential, a perfect accompaniment for white and red meats.
