Château Laronde Desormes Cuvée Millésime 2014

Bought in 1992, the vineyard belonged for many years to the Tari family, owners of Château Giscours (3rd Cru Classé in 1855). This vine is located on the lower Gironde terrace, some hundred meters away from the river. The soil is composed of “palus” (clay and sand). The nose is frank with red and black fruit aromas. On the palate, the wine has a nice texture. It is well-balanced, and round, with a nice acidity. We find subtle wooden flavors, with hints of aging aromas (tobacco).
