Château La Nerthe rouge represents 60% of our entire production in bottle.With such a wide range of grape varieties, blending will be the last, crucial step. Back in the 1890s, Joseph Ducos summarized best what each component would bring to the final cuvee: Grenache for the warmth and softness, Syrah and Mourvèdre for freshness, bouquet and ageing potential.
