CHÂTEAU LA FRANCE
Density : 5000 plants / hectare Average age of the vineyard : 35 years Soil: Clay, silt and gravels. Vinification : Plot selection, Gravity type winery (unique for this Appellation) Temperature control. Ageing : 12 months in tanks Tasting Notes: Ruby red when young with fresh berry fruits and an elegant palate, subtle smoky notes and ripe tannins. Upon ageing for 5 years the colour will start to evolve showing brick red reflections and will develop the classic earthy aromas of Bordeaux wines. Serving Suggestion: When young, fresh and dominated by fruit this wine is perfect for pasta dishes especially with spiced sauces, also mild Asian foods and marinated tuna. As the wine ages it will perfectly complement more traditional pâtés, stews and mild cheeses.
