CHATEAU HAUT GLEON BLANC

Elegant nose of pear and vanilla notes. Superb minerality in the mouth, guaranteeing a rarely achieved balance in Languedoc. Good length dominated by the freshness and finesse. Ideal with shellfish, dishes involving truffles / mushrooms, fresh or mature cheeses and pear tart. Serve 12°C. Cellaring potential : 4 to 5 years.

High terraces of Quaternary pebbles for the Roussanne vines. The average density is 4,000 vines/hectare. Traines on wires with cordon de royat pruning. De-budding. Low yields. Slow, regular ripening. Harvested by machine when the grapes reach just the right ripeness level to keep their fresher qualities.
