CHÂTEAU DE PARENCHÈRE – “CUVÉE RAPHAËL » 2018

The Cuvée Raphaël is the flagship wine of Parenchère. It was made in memory of the renovator of the estate : Raphaël Gazaniol. It is produced from a selection of the finest plots and oldest vines (40 years on average), with especially low yields. Its was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months (30% new oak). TASTING: Dark robe. A lot of freshness on the nose, with ripe cherry and cassis aromas combined with spices, vanilla and oak scents. In mouth, the wine is harmonious, displaying at the same time power, structure and freshness. The fruit is omnipresent. The tannins are present but very soft.
