Château de Davenay Rully 1er Cru "Meix Cadot" 2020
Beautiful, cool clay-limestone terroir, located just under the medieval castle of Rully. The vines were planted in the 1960s. Notes of ripe Mirabelle and yellow apple dominate the fruity nose on this wine. The palate presents the same fruitiness and pervades it with bright freshness. Hints of maple-syrup spiciness and a darker note of licorice create a complex and compelling picture. There is concentration, freshness and expression.
