Château Canet, Alternative

Based on our 15 years of experience in Burgundy we set out to make a top Chardonnay at Chateau Canet. A perfect terroir, picked at 13,5% with a good level of acidity, vinified and matured in oak barrels, Alternative can rival with some of the big names. The 2020 vintage was chosen in the TOP 100 best wines from the Languedoc. The nose is dominated by hints of white fruits (peach, pear), as well as citrus and evolves in notes of toasted bread, almonds and vanilla. The mouth is full, creamy and fatty but skilfully balanced with a good acidity and a long rounded finish.
