Chateau Benitey

An exceptional terroir with widespread plots situated near the village of Saint Laurent des Combes, next to very famous Château estates such as Bellefont-Belcier, Larcis Ducasse and Tertre Roteboeuf. This wine is a classic Saint-Emilion with rich lush Merlot fruit at its heart. Harvested by plots and grape varieties selections. Gravity flow winemaking with temperature control. Pre-fermenting maceration. From 25 to 30 days maceration. Aged in French oak barrels (20 to 40% new oak barrels) from 12 to 14 months.
