Château Assas Réserve

In the upper garrigue, twenty kilometers north of Montpellier, a highly characteristic silhouette stands out. The bold profile of the Pic Saint-Loup exudes an almost mystical atmosphere. From its height, it overlooks the plains and hillsides, at the foot of which traditional villages lie, between pine forests and garrigue scrubland.

TASTING NOTES

A pronounced garnet red colour. This wine has aromas of red fruits and vanilla that come from maturing in oak barrels. A rich, peppery, chocolatey wine, in a word, full-bodied, with tannins present, but in harmony with the whole.
