Rich, powerful and highly aromatic, BM No. 1 is designed for discerning whisky enthusiasts. Blended from relatively mature whiskies with a high malt content, the two-stage maturation process takes around 18 months in Armagnac casks. Its old gold colour suggests a strong character. The intense nose is complex, with floral aromas and a hint of woody vanilla, grain and honey notes and a delicate touch of spice. On the palate, it offers a harmonious blend of citrus followed by grain flavours and a rich array of aromas with peppery spices and a hint of nutmeg. The finish is long and refined, with just a touch of smokiness.
