Beaujolais Villages Excellence by the artist CHAP / Coquard

Coquard literally means ‘black eye', and it's my name. My family have grown grapes in Beaujolais for generations. Coquard is also the name of this original work of art by “Christophe Heymann Artiste Peintre” (aka CHAP). My name inspired him to capture my likeness in this unusual way. Coquard becomes Coq'Art. With deep roots in the Beaujolais region, I really love its wines and so I offer you, in this bottle, my own special cuvée which reveals it in the best possible light.
