Au Pied du Mont Chauve Chassagne-Montrachet En Pimont 2021
The plot is located in Chassagne-Montrachet at an altitude of 250 meters. It is a brown and limestone soil, poor, very shallow and we observe outcrops of limestone rocks. This village appellation is locate above the Premiers Crus producing chalky, mineral wines, very different drom the Chassagne wines known as 'du bas' which are on lower slope soils, richer clay. Most of the vines were planted in the mid-1970's. The wine is aged 18 months on lees, including 12 months in oak barrels.
