Aquavit Voltaire

Aquavit, originating from latin « aqua vitae » which literally means water of life, is a traditional Scandinavian spirit made from caraway and dill. Not well known in France, the Maison Hamelle collaborates with Ankhor, sourcer of fine 100% French spices, to create its own version of this liquor from plants naturally bred in the country of Voltaire, and recipe elaborated nearby Voltaire metro station in Paris.
Fresh in the mouth and unconventional through strong flavours of dill, caraway and citrus, it is delicate enough as dry to fit for accompanying or finishing a meal as a digestive.
