This cuvée embodies the heritage and soul of the Durou family. Composed of 80% Malbec, 15% Merlot, and 5% Tannat, it reflects the authenticity of Cahors’ terroir — a mix of pebbles, limestone, and clay.
Certified HVE Level 3 and in organic conversion since 2016, the wine is vinified by infusion with indigenous yeasts, minimal intervention, and gravity bottling to preserve purity.
Elegant yet structured, it offers notes of ripe dark fruits, earthy spice, and a subtle minerality, supported by fine tannins.
A perfect match for mushroom risotto, cassoulet, or duck confit. Can age gracefully for 10 years or more.
