Sweet Alsatian Horseradish

Strong in flavour, horseradish is distinguished by its pungent taste. This milder version than natural horseradish reveals a lighter horseradish. Ready to use, mild horseradish is very easy to spread. Ideal for enhancing appetiser toasts, for example with smoked trout, but also sandwiches and surimi. It can be used like mustard on the side of a plate, and enhances smoked fish, charcuterie and even fondue bourguignonne. This recipe is made without colouring. Our horseradish is made from horseradish roots grown by our partner farmers. Alélor has been supporting its local agricultural sector in Alsace for over sixty years. Each root is sorted and cut by hand using traditional methods.
