Solsius SelfCare

The Solsius SelfCare self-monitoring system is composed of a pair of Solsius SelfCare connected insoles and the Solsius SelfCare mobile application installed on the patient’s smartphone. The Solsius SelfCare insoles collect and transmit plantar temperature data (as well as the number of steps taken by the patient) via Bluetooth (BLE) at regular intervals to the dedicated mobile application previously installed on the patient’s smartphone. The data received by the mobile application is then stored on secure HDS-certified servers (Health Data Hosting) in order to be processed. As soon as an abnormal temperature variation between the two feet is detected for two consecutive days, the Solsius algorithm generates a push notification on the patient’s smartphone. This push notification prompts the patient to reduce physical activity, complete a questionnaire directly in the mobile application, and make an appointment with their healthcare professional. This product is size 1, corresponding to EU sizes 36, 37 and 38. Solsius SelfCare is a Class I medical device according to Regulation (EU) 2017/745 intended for diabetic patients.
