The Tinéo motor skills mat is a fun and practical awakening mat designed to support baby’s development safely. This smart Caché Coucou mat allows baby to develop motor skills in complete safety. Like most Tinéo products, it is multifunctional: Unfolded: a large play mat (120 x 120 x 5 cm). Folded in 2: a reading corner (60 x 60 x 10 cm). Folded in 3: a maxi pouf for seating or easy storage (60 x 60 x 20 cm). The Caché Coucou play mat has a fully removable cover. The cover is machine washable at 30°C to keep it clean and fresh. It is made of 100% cotton, soft for baby’s sensitive skin. Inside, the fiber plates are not washable. At 5 cm thick, they provide a soft and comfortable surface for play. The underside is made of polypropylene, a durable material intended for indoor use only. This play mat is ideal as a birth gift and is also used in nurseries and childminder homes. To stimulate baby’s senses, it is recommended to add accessories such as an awakening arch, mobile, toys, mirror, or musical elements to create a Montessori-inspired “NIDO” space, a cocoon for play, learning and rest. It is also advised to vary baby’s positions (back, stomach, side) to support motor development and help prevent flat head syndrome. Note: the fiber is designed and tested for young children’s weight.
