Who are we

In the heart of Grande Champagne, the Premier Cru of Cognac, Maison Jean Fillioux is an independent family estate that has been producing high-quality eaux-de-vie since 1894.

Christophe Fillioux, representing the fifth generation at the helm of the House, is proud of its traditional methods and ensures that no bottle leaves the estate without his personal oversight from start to finish.

The House's secret lies in the expertise passed down through generations.

Cooperage, distillation, and blending are among the many activities and passions of the Fillioux family. This expertise has been cultivated within the family for over 130 years.

A few words from Christophe Fillioux, owner:
“For me, Jean Fillioux Cognac is a wonderful family story that began in 1894 at La Pouyade, our estate.

We are not only a family of cellar masters but also of travelers!”

In the 1930s, my great-grandfather twice crossed the Atlantic to travel by ship to the United States; then, in the 1960s, my grandfather traveled to Europe and then to Japan, where he exported one of the first Grande Champagne cognacs ever produced.

Later, my parents traveled extensively throughout Asia, Eastern Europe, and the United States.

Today, the tradition continues: at just 25 years old, I had already set foot on all five continents, and I have now driven through no fewer than 18 European countries!

We have always been committed to crafting high-quality Grande Champagne cognacs in limited quantities and specialize in the production of aged eaux-de-vie.

We strive to create highly complex cognacs: delicate on the palate, with long and delicious finishes…"
