Château Fillon: A Legacy of Tradition and Visionary Excellence

An Exceptional Terroir in the Heart of Bordeaux. Located in Cazaugitat, just 30 km from the prestigious Saint-Émilion, Château Fillon spans a magnificent 50-hectare estate. Situated in the Entre-Deux-Mers region, the vineyard thrives on a distinctive clay-limestone soil, a terroir perfectly suited for producing wines with deep character and elegance.

A Heritage Preserved Through Centuries
The winemaking tradition of this region dates back to the Roman era. The estate itself reflects this rich history, with a main structure dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. While the estate has evolved over time, it has carefully retained its historic charm and authentic heritage.

A New Visionary Chapter
In 2023, the estate entered a new era under the leadership of owner Karlex Antoine. Driven by a passion for art, historic architecture, and fine wines, he brings a fresh energy to Château Fillon while honoring its storied past. The continuity of expertise is guaranteed by the Verral family, who have served as dedicated caretakers of the vineyard for many years.

The Art of the Blend
Our vineyard produces both red and white wines of great finesse, crafted from noble grape varieties:

Reds: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

Whites: Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc.

Each cuvée at Château Fillon is designed to capture the essence of Bordeaux winemaking:

Château Fillon Cuvée Apogée 2023: A fruity red wine featuring notes of black cherry and blackcurrant, beautifully enhanced by aromas of roasted coffee and vanilla.

Château Fillon Cuvée Première 2023: An elegant and well-balanced wine with black and red fruit aromas, offering a silky finish with hints of cocoa.

Life is… Sauvignon Blanc 2023: A balanced white wine with vibrant grapefruit and exotic fruit aromas, characterized by its great aromatic intensity.

Life is… Cabernet Sauvignon 2022: A complex wine of character, revealing notes of black fruit and chocolate, supported by smooth, well-integrated tannins.
