Who are we

Domaine Jessiaume – Santenay, Côte de Beaune Founded in 1850 in Santenay, Domaine Jessiaume has embodied for over 170 years the elegance and authenticity of southern Burgundy. Owned by Dr. Jean-François Le Bigot, the estate farms 15 hectares of vineyards spread across the renowned appellations of Santenay, Auxey-Duresses, Beaune, Volnay and Pommard. Certified organic since 2016 and following biodynamic principles, the domaine cultivates its vines with the utmost respect for biodiversity and soil life. Each parcel is tended individually, with an uncompromising focus on expressing the purity and identity of its terroir. In the cellar, the approach is minimal-intervention: hand harvesting, meticulous sorting, indigenous yeast fermentations, and gentle extractions. Ageing takes place in carefully selected barrels, aiming for balance and precision rather than excess. The result is a collection of wines marked by finesse, depth, and a strong sense of place. Producing around 80,000 bottles per year, Domaine Jessiaume stands for craftsmanship and authenticity, offering wines that reflect both their origin and the domaine’s commitment to a living, expressive Burgundy.
