Who are we

The Solveg Group is made up of various businesses FRUIDOR BANANES The French market leader in banana ripening, Fruidor Bananes has 11 sites and ripens and sells 220,000 tons of bananas at the yellow stage. FRUIDOR TERROIRS In partnership with local producers, Fruidor Terroirs markets more than 110,000 tons of fruit and vegetables. UGPBAN The Union of Banana Producers' Groups of Guadeloupe and Martinique (UGPBAN) brings together 450 French banana producers. Each year, they produce 185,000 tons of bananas. UGPBAN markets Guadeloupe & Martinique bananas at the green stage and centralizes essential tasks (marketing, logistics, quality control, communication and marketing strategy). AÏDA The Aïda trading company, based in Belgium, markets 20,000 tons of bananas and exotic fruits on the European market. VAN DAMME The Van Damme facilities comprise 72 ripening rooms with a capacity of around 80,000 tons of bananas, which pass through these premises every year. FRUITS DU MONDE Fruits du Monde is responsible for sourcing and marketing bananas from other origins (Ivory Coast, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Ecuador). United by a passion for fruit and vegetables! Six companies have joined forces to form a leading fruit and vegetable group in France. The Solveg Group was formed when the Union of Banana Producers of Guadeloupe and Martinique (UGPBAN) joined forces with Fruits du Monde, Van Damme, Fruidor (with its strong presence in the banana and local produce sectors), and Aïda. It is driven by shared values of respect for nature and people. Its aim is to expand while respecting the identity of each culture and each stakeholder. Its mission is to produce and market high-quality fruit and vegetables. Our group is one of the French leaders in the sector.
