Who are we

Founded in 2023, Solsius is a French startup that designs, develops, and markets an innovative medical device dedicated to preventing complications related to diabetic foot. Worldwide, nearly 680 million people are affected by diabetes, and 25% of them will experience foot-related conditions at some point in their lives. In Europe, among the 60 million diabetic patients, more than 1 million develop a diabetic foot ulcer each year, and 250,000 undergo an amputation. To address this major public health issue, Solsius offers an innovative preventive solution aimed at reducing the risk of ulceration and amputation. With more than 250,000 amputations each year in Europe, diabetic foot complications represent a significant medical and societal challenge.
