Who are we

Born into a winegrowing family four generations of which have lived in Chinon, Justine started out by exploring the world of flowers before heeding the call of wine, the real family passion. She complemented her studies by enrolling at agricultural engineering school and her path led her to work alongside Philippe Alliet and Jean and Pierre Gonon, eminent wine- growers who passed on their rigour and respect for the terroir to her. Curious and eager for discoveries, she then set off to explore the world’s vineyards, from France to New Zealand by way of the United States. Her travels enriched her vision of wine and nourished her approach. Now established in Montrichard, in Touraine, she does her all to exalt Sauvignon Blanc, combining her family heritage with a modern approach to create wines that reflect her story and her convictions. Justine has 7 hectares in organic conversion and a beautiful cellar located in the heart of the town of Montrichard. Le Clos des Religieuses is a place steeped in history, a cellar where the soul of bygone days continues to resonate across the centuries.
