CHATEAU DE ROUFFIAC

Who are we

Château de Rouffiac – Cahors, Lot Valley In the heart of the Cahors appellation, the historic cradle of Malbec, Château de Rouffiac stands out as one of the region’s most dynamic young estates. Located on the slopes of Duravel and Puy-l’Évêque, the vineyard covers 30 hectares across the Lot’s terraces and the iron-rich limestone plateau. This mosaic of terroirs, combined with ideal exposure, brings depth, freshness, and finesse to our wines. A modern estate with a forward-looking vision, Château de Rouffiac embraces regenerative viticulture: living soils, biodiversity preservation, no herbicides, and low-intervention winemaking without added sulfites. More than tradition, our philosophy is about reinventing Cahors for a sustainable future. Our wines celebrate Malbec, the king of Cahors, expressed in contemporary styles: deep and age-worthy reds, fruit-driven and silky wines to enjoy with friends, as well as original creations aged in clay jars or acacia barrels. A collection that blends heritage and innovation, designed to make Cahors shine for a new generation of wine lovers in France and abroad.
