Who are we
At Domaine de la Croix Mélier, we cultivate an organic family-sized vineyard in Montlouis-sur-Loire on the slopes of the Loire Valley, in Touraine, Centre of France. The clay-siliceous soil rests on a tuffeau subsoil. Our typical grape variety is the Chenin. Harvested at peak maturity, it retains the soil’s freshness that gives Montlouis wine its balance, finesse, and superb aromatic complexity. We vinify and age a wide range of still and sparkling white wines that are regularly awarded by the Hachette Guide and La Revue des Vins de France RVF.
